I thought about returning it, viewing angle was not great, color was off seem washed out as everyone mentioned, but after doing some research and missing with settings, i can say i am impressed. AOC 24G2 is a great monitor if (1) you luck out in the panel lottery, or (2) you're willing to overlook dead subpixels and/or glaring uniformity issues for the cheap price tag. It's a decent overall model with a very good contrast ratio and impressive out-of-box color accuracy that offers great gaming performance. Colors pop and some how seems more vibrant and deep than my replacement IPS monitor. Tried Nvidia controls.

The newer CQ27G2 uses a slightly different panel structure and has clearer text than the CQ27G1, and it has a slightly more aggressive curve (1500R vs. 1800R). This is a monitor for someone who has days to mess around trying to get resolution right. That did not work. For reference, I'm coming to this from a $600 34" LG 3440x1440 Ultrawide IPS display. This monitor was released and had the features I wanted at the price point I wanted. Started right up, changed the resolution and voila - no fuzzy text!!!

I had an issue with old board bios that resulted in improper resolution output on new RTX cards causing blurriness in games. This is my first >60Hz monitor, and I'm loving it so far. The AOC C27G1 is a pretty affordable FreeSync 144Hz curved gaming monitor. This monitor is absolute garbage. This replaced my Dell 2716DG, a gsync 144hz 2560x1440p TN monitor. No manual was included. Like most VA monitors, it has a high native contrast ratio, which delivers deep blacks, but this comes at the expense of viewing angles, which are disappointing. I've spent two days trying to get the text right on this monitor (some letters were half dark/half light, text blurry, etc.) Coming from a AOC 1080P 27" 144hz monitor, I really liked it less the contrast issues of a TN panel. As with most monitors, the secret sauce is in the settings. For the price and after calibration this monitor is absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectation. Turns out this time they can't send an exchange for the exchange. I later just caved and decided I was too annoyed so I'm getting an exchange. The first one I received had a malfunctioning stand that wouldn't lock the monitor in place.
Then the replacement I got had broken pixels. Please make sure that you are posting in the form of a question. I'm too annoyed with all this just from wanting to enjoy a new monitor that I instantly started refund process and shipped the monitor back day later.
