Walked in and at the desk told in wrong place (with a smile) to go to the dining room. Learned that it changed owners two weeks ago, no longer owned by a Greek family and most of the staff had been let go.
Someone else ordered a shrimp dish, lemony, over rice----very tasty and plenty of nice sized shrimp. The vegetables were also over cooked. We couldn't enjoy the food. Service was friendly and attentive. We are happy to serve you again. Greek and Mediterranean cuisines under the direction of the great chef are gorgeous here. Also Greek potatoes, and tasty veggies in a sauce. Large portions and great value. Jimmy the Greek Taverna is rated 3.9 stars by 148 OpenTable diners. I don’t know what happened there that night, but I was very shocked and disappointed. We welcome you for your favorite meal today. Platter also had a wedge of moussaka which was fluffy, tasty, delicious and a wedge of spinach pie, freshly made that day---very good.
Breakfast,lunch and dinner with a wide menu and great customer service. The person said she did not know how to do that. Everyone loved it! Just like home. Starting February 10th at our Yorktown location. We sat down and despite three people standing there (place was nearly empty), they told me to wait for another person to order an appetizer. Very convenient. Good food but non existent atmosphere.

100 KING STREET WEST, BOX 334, ugh! this seems to be a local hot spot for the over 75 crowd. Cooked on the rotisserie and wrapped in a pita with tzatziki, onions and tomatoes. The whole impression won't be complete without tea that is great here.
We will get through this together. Putting lemon juice on everything doesn’t make it Greek food. Jimmy Karaloukas has a long history of fine Greek cooking in South Florida and worked for many of the local Greek Restaurants for years. The service is friendly, if a little slow, but we always love the servers, as they have great attitudes. We would like to express our continued gratitude for your support through these tough times.
