I don't know about other games, I'm asking for my 9 yr old, he only plays Fortnite & Minecraft. I was told that they recently had an update to address some Bluetooth compatibility with their Poke Ball. You have been randomly chosen to take part in a brief survey. If i plug in the supplied 3.5 mm cable to the switch and the headset the microphone works just fine. Please Nintendo/Logitech : try to find an fix !!! I dont see how Logitech can fix this other than to license their headset with Nintendo since it would be a Nintendo installed driver that we need. I plugged one end of the inline mic into the aux outlet on the switch and before I plugged the other end into my headset I noticed my mic was already working. Thank you. Same thing happened to my son on the last week. Im trying to avoid going back and forth to Best Buy to keep trying different headsets to no avail. The headset works just fine when plugged in to a PC (via the USB adapter). As of the 2/28/19 update (v8.0) to Fortnite my wireless mic is now working again on my Logitech G933. Confirmed. The headset works just fine when plugged in with the 3.5mm audio cable between the switch and the headset. You said that it works with the Skype app, just trying to understand if its an issue with Fortnite or all games (not apps). Now we are stuck with the sound only... just cause of a driver update ! Good news but it would be very kind of Logitech Support Service to explain us the origin of the bug and who finally fixed it (Logitech, Nintendo or Epic ?). There is a firmware available for the G933 the specifically says it fixes an issue where the mic will not unmute after the mic boom is lowered. I have tested the mic, it works on skype. I was told that they were “unaware” of any issues regarding this. That is some good information.
Is it worth contacting Epic Games to find a solution? Maybe in the meantime buy some extension cables so our kids aren’t sitting 12 inches from the TV with their headsets on.

I bought this product yesterday specifically for this feature and now I’m not sure if I should return it for a different set like Steelseries that will work or will this issue be resolved? Same issue as of this morning (February 16th) with Nintendo switch (and Fortnite). I think this is an on going issue with Fortnite. Would a factory reset mean all games loaded onto the console are uninstalled? I confirmed the microphone on the headset works just fine on a computer. check this out, make sure your extension has the microphone capability. You can still connect wired. I’m not sure which mic was picking up sound but I was playing about ten feet from the tv and my friends through chat said they could hear me perfectly. They do not have any licensed wireless headsets.
Update 2 - I just got off the phone with Logitech support. Both of them have stopped working. As of this morning the wireless microphone does not work. Still is not working! I would imagine that if Nintendo can do an online update that affects the USB driver, that Logitech should be able to write an update to firmware that we can download as well.
Nothing has been successful. The headset mic works on other Xbox applications, such as Skype. I have tried repairing (by holding the reset on the USB adapter for two seconds and then when it starts blinking fast I hold in the mute button on the microphone for 15 seconds).
