A fast-spreading fire broke out early Sunday northeast of St. Helena, prompting evacuations in Deer Park and nearby areas.

Firefighters hosed down numerous spots of flame on the driveway leading from the Silverado Trail to Rombauer Vineyards on Sunday afternoon, more than 10 hours after the Glass Fire erupted outside of the Deer Park area in rural Napa County.
