Th 7.1 surround sound is good enough to be somewhat immersed but don’t expect a true 7.1 surround sound experience from these. everything has been set to my steelseries headset how I have in the past with my previous headsets. and arctis 7 game should be set as default device. Skype, games with voice chat, mobile phones, etc. Overall comfort is pretty good, even though the ear cups are not super soft. I don't think I have them set wrong.

I recently bought the Arctis 7 after reading reviews on how great it sounds for the price. It sounds great now! Luckily, the adjustable headband can get you closer to a neutral sound profile if you take the time to adjust them.

You can use your headset for in-game voice chat, private chat, audio for video chat, and in-game voice recognition using Xbox services.
