My Astro A40s echo in Xbox party chat when used via the mix amp and I don’t know what there is left to do to try fix the problem. I had this issue with Gen 1's.

not 100% sure but i think those only work on xbox, they make black ones for the ps4. What I ended up doing was buy this cable: https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Force-PlayStation-Headset-Compatibility/dp/B00HS5FETM. For me, it turned out the issue was the crappy cable they include to connect the headset to the controller, or the little 2.5 to 3.5 adapter.
